2.2.3. The food marketing.

nutritionlabelTo be properly informed is desirable that food be labeled and that advertising not be misleading.

The correct labels are those in which the product name is indicated, also the state of the food, the conservation process, the list of ingredients in descending order or additives and their respective codes, weight or volume content, the expiration date or best before date, the name of the company responsible and batch number.

In the advertisement of food is also observed if the nutritional quality of information displayed on the price and the shelf life it presents.

In Spain the labeling is regulated by : REAL DECRETO, 1334/1999, de 31 de julio
